Mrs. Cartwright is the library media specialist at Cleveland Central Middle School. While this is her first year at CCMS, she has been working in education 20 years. Mrs. Cartwright graduated from the University of West Alabama with a major in English and minor in physical education. Mrs. Cartwright was a member of the UWA basketball team and cross country team. Mrs. Cartwright later completed a Master's degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist in Administration and Supervision at Delta State University. Mrs. Cartwright has worked in both the West Bolivar School District and the Cleveland School District over the past 20 years. She has taught high school and middle school English, 3rd grade language arts, physical education, and library media.
Mrs. Cartwright resides in Rosedale, MS with her husband Jack Cartwright, Sr. and their three children-Jack, Jr., Stella Rose, and Jackson. In her free time, Mrs. Cartwright enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in CrossFit, running, playing basketball, and reading.
